Lawn Care Worker/Landscaper
Job Description
We are looking for reliable, honest, detail-oriented, fast-paced employees for lawn care, landscaping, and tree service in the Morgantown, WV area. We service all aspects of lawn care, landscaping, and tree work—including mowing, tree removal/ trimming, retaining walls, mulching, rock installation, and more.
The Lawn Care Worker/Landscaper is responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor on a lawn care and landscaping team. The person in this position may operate a variety of mowers, trimmers, and other power equipment, clean and prepare sites, trim natural environments, dig trenches, clean up debris, remove waste materials, and more.
Pay is based on experience. Significant opportunity for advancement. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and must be able to pass a drug screen.

Prior experience with tree trimming/removal and retaining walls is a plus.
The essential functions and qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performing a variety of tasks and assigned work duties involving strenuous manual labor in outdoor projects and worksites in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work at a high pace, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
- Maintain a clean job site; picking up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
- Load and unload trucks and haul materials and equipment.
- Perform required light maintenance of equipment.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- A valid and appropriate state driver’s license, prior to employment.
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
- Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in lawn care and landscaping work.
- Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
